Children of all ages are always welcome at UUFR. Unfortunately, we do not currently offer a religious education program or provide childcare during services. Children are invited to join us during Sunday morning services in the sanctuary and stay afterward for refreshments.
Parents who plan to attend regularly and are interested in a more structured Unitarian Universalist religious education program for their children are encouraged to reach out and let us know. We would be happy to collaborate with you to help organize one.

Although they aren’t meeting right now, our UU Kids time together was full of creativity and fun when classes were in session! We didn’t mind getting a little messy along the way. We even painted our chairs and classroom in the blue and yellow of the Ukrainian flag as we learned about the war and the experiences of refugees.

We enjoyed giving back to our community!
We created Valentine’s Day cards for residents at a local assisted living facility. Two of the children had the special opportunity to deliver them in person. The residents were delighted to spend time visiting with the kids.
Whenever the weather allowed, we wrapped up our Religious Education lessons by heading outside to enjoy our wonderful playground together.

We launched our River Pals Puppets and debuted our very first puppet show at the 1st Kids Harvest & Halloween Festival.

And even more fun memories… a lively drum circle to celebrate Juneteenth, a balloon toss on Fun Day, making pizza together, and spending time on the playground in our “Be Kind” shirts.
