UUFR encourages the use of our facility for programs and activities of our Fellowship and by organizations and individuals from our community from which we draw our members.
Qualifying Individuals and Organizations:
UUFR’s facility is available for use by members, non-profit groups, and community activities, such as cultural events, private and public meetings, non-partisan political forums and charitable benefits.
UUFR does not allow use or rent to individuals, groups, or organizations that discriminate against any race, color, religious creed, gender, gender identity or expression, age, ability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status.
UUFR’s Board of Stewards reserves the right to refuse use or to terminate use of any individual, organization, or group whose values and purposes are not consistent with Unitarian Universalist Principles and Practices or who fail to honor the Building Use Guidelines.
Approvals for use:
All building uses will be approved by the Building Use Administrator appointed by the Board of Stewards. The Building Use Administrator will provide the Board of Stewards with a monthly calendar for approval.
Building use by the Program Committee for UUFR Programs shall have priority.
The Board of Stewards may consult with the Finance and Legal Committee prior to approving any building use.
Building use fees shall be established by the Board of Stewards and reviewed annually. The Board of Stewards may allow discounted rates or waive fees as requested in a UUFR Fee Waiver Request.
